Vincentian awarded prestigious US Fulbright Scholarship
Jai-Len Williams, a national of St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) is currently in the United States pursuing graduate studies, funded by the US Government through the Fulbright LASPAU scholarship.
Williams, a Legal Officer at the Financial Intelligence Unit in SVG, is undertaking her studies at Fordham University in New York where she is pursuing a Master of Laws degree (LLM), a release from the US Embassy to Barbados, the Eastern Caribbean, and the Organization of the Eastern Caribbean States said.
“The Fulbright program is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the US government, and is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries,” the release said.
The Fulbright LASPAU program is affiliated with Harvard University, administered by the Latin American Scholarship Program of American Universities (LASPAU).
