Five receive bursaries from SVGTCCU to pursue higher education

The Teachers Co-operative Credit Union (SVGTCCU Ltd) has awarded bursaries to five of its members to assist in their pursuit of higher education.

The recipients are Lorson Lewis, Kinda John-Matthias, Keron Peters, Kelorn Samuel, and Kellisha Stewart. The credit union said in a release that the annual bursaries were presented at a brief ceremony on Friday, October 22 at it’s headquarters in Kingstown, officiated by Deputy CEO/Loans Manager, Nekeisha Adams.

The credit union’s bursaries programme has been in place since 2004, and is one of the ways the SVGTCCU Ltd remains committed to the credit union principle of ‘people help people’, and to providing support to its members.
