Police put temporary vehicle inspection measures in place

In the wake of the closure of the garage at Arnos Vale due to covid19 infection, the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) has put in place a temporary arrangement for motor vehicle owners to have their vehicles inspected.

The police said in a release issued September 22 that, “officers from the traffic branch will conduct motor vehicle inspections and road tests utilizing the portion of road in the immediate vicinity of the police garage in Arnos Vale” and that “inspection will be done from 9:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m, Monday to Friday until further notice.”

The police garage at Arnos Vale and the police station at Rose Hall were closed from September 16 due to covid19 infection among staff, “and will remain closed until further notice,” the police had said in a release issued last week.
