Police investigating shooting death of 60 year old Brighton resident

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Edward Samuel, a resident of Brighton who was shot to death at around 11.40 p.m on August 18, 2021

The police said in a release that Samuel, 60, was shot about the body multiple times and the District Medical Officer pronounced him dead on the scene at Brighton.

Samuel’s death marks the 26th homicide for 2021. A post mortem examination will be conducted on the body to ascertain the exact cause of death.
