National Firearms Association to stage shooting competition

TO CELEBRATE THE Emancipation Day weekend the National Firearms Association (NFA) is hosting at the Arnos Vale range a series of competitions with cash prizes on Monday, August 2 2021, preceded by practices for the competitions on Saturday 31 July 2021. All those who have joined the NFA are welcome, a release from the NFA states.

The main competition, Advancing Man, will begin at 2:00 p.m on Monday August 3 2021. There will be an entry fee of $10 for this competition and all ammunition will be free. Cash prizes will be $300 for first; $200 for second; $100 for third. There will be a $100 cash prize for the best lady. The Lady who wins first prize could walk away with $400!

The other three competitions will have no entry fee but competitors will buy their own ammunition. Cash prizes for each competition will be $200 for first; $100 for second; and $100 for the best lady.

Remember to wear a belt, trousers or shorts and sensible shoes!
