SVG records 15 new Covid-19 cases

St Vincent and the Grenadines on Saturday, March 27 recorded nine new positive cases from 262 samples collected on Friday, March 26, 2021, giving  a positivity rate of 3.4%. An additional six cases were reported for March 25,  2021, a release from the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) said.

“Four new recoveries were reported, bringing the number of total recoveries to fifteen hundred and eighty-seven (1587). One hundred and forty-one (141) cases  remain active and ten (10) persons with COVID-19 have died. One thousand, seven hundred and thirty-eight (1738) cases of COVID-19 have been reported in St.  Vincent and the Grenadines since March 2020,” the release said.  

The public is urged to continue to use masks, sanitize, physically distance and get  vaccinated to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
