Two new Covid-19 cases and six recoveries reported in SVG

St Vincent and the Grenadines on Friday, March 26 recorded two new positive cases from 293 samples collected on Thursday, March 25, 2021,  giving a positivity rate of 0.7%, a release from the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) said.

“Six new recoveries were reported, bringing the number of total recoveries to fifteen hundred and eighty-three (1583). One hundred and thirty (130) cases remain  active and ten (10) persons with COVID-19 have died. One thousand, seven hundred and twenty-three (1723) cases of COVID-19 have been reported in St. Vincent and  the Grenadines since March 2020,” the release said. 

The public is urged to continue to use masks, sanitize, physically distance and get  vaccinated to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
