New road for residents in Sharpes
The Roads, Buildings and General Services Authority (BRAGSA) has completed the construction of a new concrete road in Sharpes, Central Kingstown.
The project saw the construction of a 257-foot roadway in a section of the community called “The Rocks”.
A 130-foot long footpath was also constructed, along with Slipper and Swale drains.
In addition, BRAGSA built a 469-foot long retaining wall.
The project was carried out a cost of $142,000.
It was done over a ten-week period.
