Lodge Village Government School gets donation

THE Lodge Village Government School was the recipient of the benevolence of the Island Ryd-AZ Bike Club / Association in collaboration with the Forbes Family of Redemption Sharpes who donated a quantity of books for the school’s library on Thursday, October 15, 2020.

Receiving on behalf of the school were principal Kesslon Wilson, deputy principal Cordelia Franklyn and literacy co-ordinators Jonelle Benjamin and Nicole Martindale-Snagg, along with students of Grade 3.

Island Ryd-AZ representative, Kemanie “Smaller Man” King in handing over the books, quipped “Doing It For The Kids”.

The staff, students, parents and guardians expressed their gratitude to Island Ryd-AZ Club/ association and thanked

them for their charity.
