CXC Results for SVG to be released 9:00 am Tuesday and Thursday
The Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) has announced that the 2019 CAPE® and CSEC® results for St Vincent and the Grenadines will be released between 9:00 am and 11:00 am on August 13 and August 15 respectively.
The CXC said they have implemented a new system for the release of the results, which are highly anticipated by students, in order to determine how they performed in their examinations and how they will proceed on their educational journeys.
“In the past, students may have experienced access issues due to the high volume of traffic received on the CXC website, where the results were scheduled to be released at 10:00 p.m. EST, on release dates. This year, in order to ensure that students have easy access to the results portal, CXC will release results at varying times throughout the day,” the release, issued August 12, said.
The new approach will mean decreased numbers of students visiting the website at one specific time. Results will be released to specific countries for a window of time between two to three hours on release dates. Subsequently, results will be available freely until the portal is closed.
As CXC marks the 40th anniversary of offering CSEC® exams, the organisation remains committed to preparing students of all ages, abilities and interests for an ever-changing, competitive, global employment market, through the provision of the highest quality syllabuses; valid and reliable examinations and certificates of international repute.
The CAPE® and CSEC® results for Antigua and Barbuda, Anguilla, Belize, BVI, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, Saba, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname Turks and Caicos Islands and St Maarten will be made available between 9:00 am and 11:00 on August 13 and August 15 respectively.
Between 11:15 a.m. and 2:15 p.m, the results for Barbados and Guyana will be released, while those for Jamaica will be released between 2:30 pm and 5:30 pm and those for Trinidad and Tobago between 5:45 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. on the respective dates.
