Glock Dagger up for grabs in Shooting Competition this Saturday
The National Firearms Association (NFA) will hold an open pistol and revolver shooting competition for all those who have ever joined the NFA, even if they are not current, between 9.00am and 5.30pm on Saturday, 17 June 2014 at the Arnos Vale Range.
A release from the NFA said the competition will be for persons shooting pistols and revolvers in 9mm Luger or .38 Special. Non-members may join the NFA on the day but must use their own handgun, bring their firearms licence with them and have proof of identity, such as a passport or ID Card. Police Officers will be on hand to check firearms licences.
The competition will require 50 rounds. Details of the course of fire will be available on the day. Competitors should bring a belt, holster and ear protection if possible. Some holsters and ear muffs will be available for those without.
The competition will run from 9.30 am to 5.00 pm.
First Prize will be a genuine Glock Dagger.
Winners in previous year have included Rommel De Freitas, the well-known pilot.
