When will elections be held in SVG?

Speculations are rife for the 2025 general elections in St. Vincent and the Grenadines this year, and, interested observer, Dr Anthony G. Stewart believes he knows the date. for the polls. His calculation is that:

Based on past successful elections for the Labour party, the favoured months are March, May, November and December. December is the favourite. The preferred days are Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays with Wednesdays being the favourite. The preferred date is within the first eight days of the month on an odd date.

May and June feature CXC examinations. It is not a good idea to disturb students as they study. Carnival is in July and the festival does not mix with elections. The usual anti-government calypsos and ole-mas hit the authorities hard. August and October are not favoured months. In September the focus is on school and the unfavourable exam results which will be forgotten by November 5th or December 3rd. Thus, the most likely date for the SVG elections is Wednesday 3rd December 2025.
