Rich getting insanely richer!
Editor: If ever we were to look at what is wrong in this world, the best example is the rate at which the rich are getting richer, insanely so, while billions of people wallow in poverty, disease and starvation. Something must be wrong here.
There are information services bent on keeping us abreast about the world’s richest people so much so that we can recite who is richer than who, but do not have a clue about the level of poverty around us, much more in the world. It places us in the world of fantasy in which we aspire to accumulate such wishes, no matter how far-fetched our dreams.
Not satisfied with telling us how many billionaires there are in the world, we have gone a step further. The so-called Information Connect Academy has just published a report telling us that the world’s richest man, the right-wing, anti-worker head of TESLA, Elon Musk, good friend of Donald Trump, is on track to become the world’s first trillionaire by 2027. One trillion is written as 1,000,000,000,000, in other words, all to one man.
How insane can we become? What kind of world do we aspire towards?
