Hopeful about the possibilities for an upgraded Sir Vincent Beache Stadium

EDITOR: Sports is very import. Many persons were locked into their television watching the Olympics.

I take this opportunity to extend congrats to our athletes, among them are Handel Roban and Shafiqua Maloney. They did not gain any gold, but they made us proud and if they continue to improve, they can be gold winners at the next Olympics. It is my desire that we would be able to host these games one day. I would recommend that efforts be made in the not too distant future to upgrade the Sir. Vincent Beache stadium. Doing so would mean improvements in the tracks, as well as improving and expanding the stadium itself. This would benefit our country economically, for we can have several types of games organized- both locally and regionally. Our tourism would also get a boost. Different segments of our society would benefit financially.

I know this idea may seem impossible, but with proper planning and determination, along with proper execution, it can be reality.

Let us think positively and work towards it.
