Judgement will be after the rapture

08.MAR.11

Editor: In recent times, we have been bombarded by a group of folks who have been distributing literature claiming that JUDGEMENT DAY is May 21, 2011 and the end of the World will be October 21, 2011.{{more}}

This we know is a lie from the pit of hell. These folks are nothing but false teachers and are governed by the spirit of anti-Christ. In St.Matthew 24: 36, we are told that no one knows the hour or the day when the Lord will come, not even the angels in heaven, but my father only. In 1 Thessalonians 5: 2, it is mentioned that the Lord will come as a thief in the night. It therefore means that he will come unawares and unannounced.

Besides, it must be borne in mind that the church will be raptured to meet him in the air, according to 1 Thessalonians 4: 15- 17, after which will be the tribulation period. The judgement will be after the rapture of the Church. There would also be the millennium, which is a 1000-year reign of Christ with his saints over the earth before the world comes to an end.

Many have tried over the years to predict his coming and have failed. In December 1999, many predicted that the world will end in 2000 simply because biblical history has proven that at the end of 2000 years a dispensation or period ended. But we are now in 2011. Thus, man at his most brilliant of mind and intellect cannot predict anything that God planned. God is far superior.

So, let us not be fooled by these people. They should never be entertained. Similarly, those in this blessed land of ours who are also propagating false teaching should not allowed to flourish and grow, but rather be condemned for the hearsay.

I encourage us as Christians to pray harder, for it definitely shows that we are living in the closing of the church age.

Let us be united in our efforts to let the word of God be preached and once again I call upon us as Christians to let our voices be heard concerning the gospel and leave the politics alone, for our mission is to represent Jesus Christ and do HIS work of winning souls.
