‘Thank you’, Searchlight

Editor: I felt like one of the nine ungrateful lepers because I did not write back to tell Searchlight ‘Thanks’ for printing the letter and pothole picture I sent them in February. Within 3 weeks after Searchlight printed my letter and picture, the road was fixed.{{more}}

Not only did they fix that road outside the Chief Magistrate’s residence but they went throughout New Montrose and fixed so many other potholes that I didn’t need to send in my other ‘Montrose pothole’ pictures. I met these potholes here 3 years ago when I moved to Montrose, so I’m taking the credit for getting them fixed and saying a big ‘THANK YOU’ to Searchlight for printing my letter.

Now potholes appear to be getting fixed all over town. So before the enthusiasm wanes, there is one pothole on Level Garden main road that seems to have been forgotten (since others on the same street were repaired). So I am sending that picture (see above) and looking forward to results. I don’t know what the correct name for that street is, but once you take the Level Garden shortcut from Paul’s Avenue that brings you out by Girls’ High School, you can’t miss the pothole-it takes up half the road.
