Abolish beating in homes

Editor: I’m delighted to see that we’re on the verge of abolishing corporal punishment in our schools. I hope too we will abolish it in our homes. Violence begets violence, and corporal punishment damages the psyche.{{more}}

This has been a season of good news for the least protected members of our society: youngsters. The other has been that secondary education will be universal beginning this September.
