Police Force express gratitude for service of deceased Constable

The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) has expressed gratitude for the service rendered to the organisation and the State by Constable 504 Alford Jacobs, who died in the United Kingdom on March 11, 2025.

His funeral service will take place on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the Biabou Evangelical Church.

Viewing will be from 11:30 a.m to 12:30 p.m and the service will start at 1:00 p.m, a release from the RSVGPF states. Interment will be at the Biabou Cemetery.

The release said “his death has brought deep sorrow to the RSVGPF and all who knew him. For over seventeen years, he served with honour, humility and strength”.

“As we prepare to lay him to rest, we do so with gratitude, for his service, his example, and his commitment to duty. The loss is profound, but so too is the legacy he leaves behind.”

The police are inviting the public and members of the policing fraternity to join them “as we pay final respects to one of our own.”
