Richland Park bus conductor charged with assault

A bus conductor of Richland Park, accused of wielding a wheel spanner at another man, is to reappear in court on June 14,2025, to answer to a charge of assault.

The police said in a release that on March 15, 2025, Niclan David, 25, was arrested and charged with the offence of assault.

David is alleged to have assaulted Michael Kendolph Homer of Mesopotamia, by waving a wheel spanner at him on November 22, 2024 in Richmond Hill.

David appeared at the Kingstown Magistrate Court on March, 17,2025, and pleaded not guilty to the charge. He was granted bail in the sum of EC$1,500 with one surety, and was ordered not to have any contact with the complainant. David is also to report to the Mesopotamia Police Station every Wednesday between 6:00 a.m and 6:00 p.m. He will reappear in court on June 14, 2025 for the start of his trial.
