Ottley Hall man awaiting sentence for breaking minivan wind shield

A man of Ottley Hall man who turned himself in after breaking the wind shield of a minivan with a stone, was remanded in custody for sentencing.

Javill Williams, 27, appeared at the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court before Senior Magistrate, Tammika McKenzie on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 where he was remanded in custody after pleading guilty to damage to property.

Williams was charged that he, between March 16 and 19, 2025, at Campden Park, without lawful excuse, damaged one wind shield of motor vehicle HM-739 valued at EC$1300.00, the property of Julian Glasgow of Campden Park intending to damage such property.

The facts as stated in court are that Glasgow usually parks the vehicle in front of his mother’s house. On March 17, 2025 at about 11:00 p.m Glasgow parked his van in the usual spot, secured it and went home.
