Alleged cutlass-swinging bus conductor on $2,700 bail
Benjamin Dellimore, a 28 year old bus conductor of Belair, charged with offensive possession of an offensive weapon, and wounding, was granted EC 2,700 bail when he appeared in court on March 17, 2025.
A police release states that Dellimore was arrested on March 15, 2025 and charged with having a cutlass, an offensive weapon, in a public place.
The police release further states that Dellimore was charged as well with assaulting Alberto Woods, a 31 year old bus conductor, also of Belair, by swinging the cutlass at his body.
The offences were allegedly committed at the KFC branch at Arnos Vale, on January 17, 2025.
Dellimore appeared at the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court on March 17, 2025, and pleaded not guilty to both charges. He was granted bail in the sum of EC $2,700 with one surety, and was also ordered not to have any contact with the complainant. The matter was adjourned to March 24, 2025.
