Rodney Small is new CEO of Carnival Development Corporation

Tourism Minister, Carlos James, this morning announced the appointment for the lead position at the Carnival Development Corporation (CDC).

Rodney Small is expected to take up the position of Chief Executive Officer of the CDC following the resignation of the former CEO, Ashford last year.

The Minister also noted the recent appointment of Dr Tamira Browne to the position of Acting Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Sustainibility and Culture, saying she was “most deserving of the role”.

The announcements were made on Monday, March 10, 2025 at a Ministerial press conference to celebrate the 2025 PATWA Awards.
