Former Government Minister, Allan Cruickshank dies
Former Minister of Government in the James Mitchell administration, Allan Cruickshank has died.
His son, Allanson, made the following announcement of his dad’s death in a Facebook post this morning, March 1, 2025:
Unfortunately, our dad, Allan Cruickshank, passed away early this morning, March 1, 2025. We give thanks for the life he lived, the majority of which was spent in service to the nation of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines as a teacher, principal, Member of Parliament, and Minister of Government.We appreciate the overwhelming support that he received during his brief illness – those who gave blood (or attempted to), those who visited him, and the many prayers that were offered on his behalf.
It is our hope that he made his calling and election sure, and we await the first resurrection.
We will miss him: husband; father; grandfather; and, nation builder.
