After candidate selection, NDP moves to open constituency office

The opposition New Democratic Party (NDP) is keeping up its momentum as it prepares for the next generals election in St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG).

Last Saturday, February 22, 2025 the party officially opened its South Windward Constituency Office in Biabou.

The party’s candidate for that constituency, retired teacher, Andrew John, said the opening of the office “marks a serious milestone in our march to victory in South Windward”.

John who in March, 2024, was named as the party’s candidate, thanked the people of the constituency for their continued support.

Speaking about the neglect of the South Windward Constituency, John said, “infrastructure in South Windward is the worst in St Vincent and the Grenadines”.

He said he and his supporters recently had a march in the community of Simon (New Prospect), to protest the condition of the roads in that part of the constituency.

“We have to demand better…we have allowed ourselves to be fooled and misled, and we have been satisfied with too little.”

John promised constituents a brighter future under an NDP administration.
