Exciting future in store for AIA – CEO

As the international airport at Argyle celebrates eight year of operations, management of the facility is promising an exciting future.

Chief Executive Officer, Josette Greaves made the upbeat declaration at a ceremony on Friday, February, 14, 2025 at the unveiling of a sign along the entrance to the Argyle International Airport (AIA).

The unveiling was held to mark the eighth anniversary since the opening of the AIA on February 14, 2017.

Greaves said the AIA is “soaring higher,” and, “we are just getting started”.

She promised that “many exciting improvements lie ahead, including an expanded airline network, and an enhanced passenger experience”.

Greaves also promised that the AIA will continue to grow, innovate and celebrate. She said the new sign at the airport is a symbol of “where we are, and how far we have come”.

She further explained that it is a representation of resilience, progress and unwavering commitment to the future.

“We celebrate because we know where we started. We celebrate because we understand what it took to get us here. We celebrate because we see the hard work that keeps AIA running every day,” Greaves stated.

“Our best days are still ahead. We have immense potential waiting to take flight and we are determined to tap into it,” the airport’s CEO added.
