Helicopter service coming on-stream for tourism and emergency response
A helicopter service aimed at giving persons a bird’s eye view of St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), while also complementing the healthcare services in the country is one of the new areas of investment that Invest SVG has managed to attract to these shores for 2025.
On Thursday February 6, 2024, Investment Facilitation Services Manager at Invest SVG Shanna Browne-Jacobs spoke about some of the investment agency’s plans for 2025.
“Our mission is to drive economic growth and investment in St Vincent and the Grenadines. We recognize that building a strong economy requires both foreign and local investment,” Brown-Jacobs told a gathering at the Holiday Inn Hotels and Suites at Diamond.
Browne-Jacobs who has been at Invest SVG for 20 years said the helicopter services is just one of several developments that will further strengthen SVG’s economy.
She said helicopter services will operate through a company called Vincy Grenadines Helicopters.
