Lack of water forced closure of Canouan Government School

The population of the Canouan Government School was forced to forego schooling yesterday, Thursday, February 6, 2025 because of a lack of water. President of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Teacher’s Union (SVGTU), Oswald Robinson said he had given the order to the national executive and staff that the Canouan Government School (CGS) should be closed until the Ministry of Education and the Government get serious about the health of teachers and students at the institution.
