Jeffon Junior Norton, popularly known as Pago, sustained multiple stab wounds about his body on Friday, October 11, 2024 in his home town.
Billy Alexander, who told SEARCHLIGHT yesterday, October 14, 2024, that he has known Norton for over 20 years, described him as “a guy who likes to make jokes”, and “like provoke you a kind of way”, but doesn’t mean anything bad when he does so.
“Everybody miss him because…he was like a favourite guy, favourite guy on the block, to be honest. Right now if he there and thing, you had to hear his mouth. That’s the kind of person, you had to hear his mouth,” Alexander added.
“You know, some of the time he go make rough jokes and thing but as I say, he don’t really mean nothing, that’s just the kind of person…” he continued.
Alexander said that in all the years knowing Norton, he has never known him to be a troublesome person.
Norton’s uncle, Lesworth Norton, told SEARCHLIGHT that his nephew was a good man.
Lesworth said that despite Norton’s rough demeanour, he would always come back and say, “Man let we do this, let we do that. Man ah joke me ah make with you.”
Both Lesworth and Alexander said that Norton was “a man who will give anybody anything.”
“I miss him a lot, man. I miss him a lot,” Lesworth continued.
“It go take we a long time to overcome that,” Alexander said, adding that Norton was a very nice guy who kept the block lively.
