Former Disc Jockey charged with stabbing death in Calliaqua

A disc Jockey personality was charged with the murder of a Calliaqua man, who reportedly died from stab wounds.

Nolwyn “Nolly-B” Bennett, 45, appeared at the Serious Offences Court before Senior Magistrate, Colin John on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 where he was charged with murder.

Bennett was charged that he, on September 29, 2024 with malice aforethought caused the death of Elijah Crease, a 34 year old labourer by an unlawful act.

Bennett was not required to plea to the indictable charge.The matter is adjourned to November 5, 2024.

Bennett was a disc jockey of the popular Friday Night Blow Out on Hitz FM .
