Miss JCI St Vincent aims to make an impact at Miss SVG Pageant

The goal of Miss SVG contestant, Lisha Beache, Miss JCI St Vincent, isn’t only the crown, but to make an impact. Inspired by Miss Jaycees 2023, Ischikelle Corbin from Antigua and Barbuda. Beache was confident that she could use the community project aspect of the pageant to make an impact. This aligns with one of the goals of JCI St Vincent, of which she is vice president.

“The platform with being Miss JCI and a Miss SVG contestant together, would have given me a larger reach,” she told SEARCHLIGHT at Wednesday’s ‘meet and greet’ at La Vue Hotel.

Beache said her community project targeted all age groups, from pre-preschoolers, to senior individuals, and persons living with diabetes and hypertension.

She expressed her readiness for the pageant and is taking her physical health seriously by going to the gym and taking walks; to prepare her for the night of Miss SVG 2024.

“I’m also doing a lot of reading and being aware of different things around me. So by the time I get to interview, I’ll be privy to a lot of things, and when I get a question, I’ll be able to answer it with statistics and proper background information.”

Anxious about show night, the Miss JCI St Vincent-sponsored contestant said that as October 5 nears, practice days are becoming more strenuous as she ensures everything is meticulously prepared.

Beache describes herself as having a bubbly personality that she believes will connect her with the audience and make her stand out from the other five contestants.

She’s excited about taking part in the talent and swimwear segments of the pageant, as it is in those categories where the contestants can show their personalities and be more creative.
