Minors charged with theft

Two youngsters, both residents of Redemption Sharpes, were arrested by the Police and jointly charged with the offence of theft.

A release from the Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) states that investigation revealed that the duo allegedly stole EC$4,950 the property of a 47-year-old Chauffeur of Calder Ridge.

The offence was committed on August 24, 2024, at Redemption Sharps. The accused minors appeared before the Serious Offences Court on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 where they pleaded not guilty. They were granted bail in the sum of EC $3,000 with one surety. The matter was adjourned and transferred to the Kingstown Magistrate Court for trial on September 9, 2024.
