Man on indecent assault charge granted bail

A man, who is charged for committing indecent assault against a girl who was under the age of 15 has been granted bail.

The man appeared at the Serious Offences Court before Senior Magistrate, Colin John on Thursday, August 22, 2024 where he pleaded not guilty that on August 13, 2024, he indecently assaulted a girl, she being under the age of 15.

Prosecutor, Renrick Cato, did not object to bail. Senior Magistrate John granted the accused bail in the sum of $5,000 with one surety.

He was ordered to not have any contact with the child. The matter is adjourned to September 2, 2024, at the family court.
