Resident pleased with Murray’s Village arrests
A RESIDENT OF Murray’s Village says that persons living in the East Kingstown community are pleased about a recent arrest, and a conviction, stemming from two separate violent incidents that took place in the area.
Last Friday, the villager, on condition of anonymity, told SEARCHLIGHT, that he was close to the area where on Sunday June 16, 2024, Zeno “Sarge” Lee, 33, was shot to death and two other men, Enrique “Crash” Mc-Clean/King, and Ronald Millington were injured.
Lemar “Chak” Isaacs is currently on remand, charged that with malice aforethought he caused the death of Lee of Murray’s Village by an unlawful act, and wounding the other men.
The male resident said that people are pleased that someone has been charged for Lee’s death, and also another incident where Ronald “John Small” Isaacs was found guilty at High Court No. 1, in Kingstown, for the February 24, 2022, firearm wounding of fisherman, Philroy Matthews in Murray’s Village.
Ronald is Lemar’s uncle. Lemar is also currently before the court in relation to the July 16, 2024 attempted robbery of the General
Employees Cooperative Credit Union (GECCU), South Rivers branch.
Lemar also is charged that on June 16, he attempted to murder McClean/King, a 24 year old bartender from Richmond Hill by shooting him, and for unlawfully and maliciously causing grievous bodily harm to Millington, a 40 year old unemployed resident of Murray’s Village with intent so to do. Millington is said to have fallen into a river during the shooting and broke his foot.
All of the parties were said to be at The Waterfall Bar when Lemar is alleged to have done the shooting.
“People feel good still,” the resident said, while noting that on the day of the shooting, McClean/ King fought with the gunman before he was shot.
