Six students receive bursaries from the NTRC

The National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC), has awarded bursaries to six students for the new school year which begins in September, 2024. A release from the NTRC states that three of these students are from primary schools, and three are from secondary schools across St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The recipients of this year’s bursaries are enrolled at the Bequia SDA Secondary School; St. Vincent Girls’ High School; Barrouallie Secondary School; Evesham Methodist School; Argyle R.C School; and the Dorsetshire Hill Government School.

Students are selected by the principals of different schools throughout St Vincent and the Grenadines. The NTRC launched its annual bursary programme in 2017 and has been offering assistance to primary and secondary school students from low-income families ever since.
