Alleged killer of man who received 16 bullets, charged

A RILLAN HILL MAN has been charged with the 2023 murder of a man, who was reportedly shot 16 times.

Orande “Bells” Dunbar, 37, appeared at the Serious Offences before Senior Magistrate, Colin John on Friday, July 19, 2024, where he was charged that on September 7, 2023 at Buccament with malice aforethought, he caused the death of Jervany Baptiste of Rose Place, by an unlawful act. The charge was laid indictably so Dunbar was not required to plea. The matter is adjourned to September 9, 2024 for the commencement of his preliminary inquiry.

Dunbar was unrepresented in this matter. On the date in question, Baptiste, a 28-year-old labourer, was fatally shot 16 times on his way to work at a construction site in Buccament around 7:55 am.
