St. Benedict’s Day Nursery receives supplies from Coreas Distribution
Coreas Distribution with its product, BOP insecticide spray, has donated a quantity of groceries, pharmaceuticals and other supplies to the St Benedict’s Day Nursery and Children’s Home located at Georgetown.
The donation was presented on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, by brand manager at Coreas Distribution Afra Bynoe, to Sister Nyra Pajotte, who oversees the operations at St. Benedict’s.
In a release Coreas Distribution noted that for more than 60 years, St Benedict’s has been a pillar of support in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, offering essential services in education, medical care, and social activities to hundreds of disadvantaged children, helping them reach their full potential through opportunities that would otherwise be inaccessible.
The donation from BOP includes a variety of groceries such as milk, tea, pasta, condiments, cereals, canned foods as well as toiletries, pharmaceuticals, Beep Air Fresheners, and other cleaning supplies. These contributions are crucial for the day-to-day operations and overall well-being of the children at St. Benedict’s Bynoe expressed the commitment of Coreas Distribution’s to supporting the Home, stating, “We recognize the incredible work St. Benedict’s has been doing for decades. It is our honour to support them in their mission to provide care and opportunities for underprivileged children”.
Sister Nyra is said to have expressed gratitude for the generous donation, emphasizing its importance in maintaining the high standard of care provided to the children.
