Man’s partly decomposed body found at his home at Argyle
The Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF), said they are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a partially decomposed body of a man on April 24, 2024, at his residence in Argyle.
Officers from the Biabou Police Station received the report and responded to it where, around 3:00 p.m, they met the male lying naked on his back. The deceased was later identified by a relative to be that of Arnis Marshall, a retiree over the age of 60.
It was reported that his daughter called him at about 2:30 p.m that day but did not get a response, the police said in a release.
She later sent someone to check on him which led to the discovery. Marshall was pronounced dead by Dr Maikel Macco, and Senior Magistrate, Colin John, authorized the removal of the body.
A post-mortem examination is expected to be conducted to determine the cause of death.
The RSVGPF is asking anyone who may have information regarding this matter to contact Police Emergency at 999/911; the Calliaqua Police Station at 784-458-4200; or the Stubbs Police Station at 784-458-4210.
