Dr Margaret Ann Eustace found dead on Bequia beach
Dr Margaret Ann Eustace was said to have gone to Bequia to escape some of the heat currently being experienced and booked herself in at Friendship Villas, on that Grenadine Island.
On Wednesday morning, April 24, 2024, the body of the medical doctor was found floating in the sea at Friendship, and persons said she may have been discovered by a fisherman who was going out to sea just around dawn.
The body was clad in a woman’s exercise tights and a tank top, and Eustace’ watch was still on her hand. There was, reportedly, no sign of trauma on the body, nor was there any evidence indicating how she may have ended up in the water.
Dr Eustace was the benefactress for several persons, providing scholarships and lending assistance in other areas of education.
Local violinist, Daron Andrews, a few months ago, wrote a piece thanking Eustace for paying for his violin lessons.
Eustace also wrote many letter to SEARCHLIGHT Newspaper. She was the daughter of Sir Lambert Eusatce,deceased, former Governor General; and sister of Monty Eustace. Dr Eustace did not have any children and was described as a private person. The body was transported later on Wednesday to the mainland, and the police said in a release that a post mortem is to be performed to ascertain the cause of death.
