Woman attacked, robbed on her way to work

A Murray’s Village woman is currently in hospital recovering, following an attack which left her lying unconscious on the road in a pool of blood.

The injured woman is Alice Williams and she was rushed to the hospital after the attack which occurred on Saturday, April 20 on the Frenches / Sally Springs Road.

She told SEARCHLIGHT from her hospital bed today April 23, that she was also robbed of her purse and phone.

A piece of steel was also discovered near Williams.

It is reported that she may have been attacked by a man who is known to have mental health issues.
