Camron ‘Boogie’ Miller shot to death at Ottley Hall
The use of guns in commission of crime continues even as an amnesty is on for illegal firearms and ammunition to be handed in to the police.
At present, the Major Crime Unit (MCU) of the Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadine Police Force (RSVGPF), is investigating a shooting incident that left dead 33-year-old Camron Kenny “Boogie” Miller, a labourer from Ottley Hall.
Initial inquiries suggest that Miller was liming at a shop on the block in Ottley Hall when he was accosted and shot in his head by an unidentified assailant at approximately 11:47 a.m on the Tuesday, March, 19, 2024. The assailant then fled the scene.
Subsequent to the occurrence, the police said the Crime Scene Unit (CSU) was swiftly deployed to the site to conduct a thorough examination, gathering items of potential evidential significance. A postmortem examination is scheduled to be conducted on Miller’s remains to determine the precise cause of death. His death brings to eight, the number of homicides recorded in SVG so far for this year.
