PM Gonsalves heads delegation to G77 Summit

Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves is leading a St Vincent and the Grenadines delegation to this year’s G77 Summit, which is being held in Kampala, Uganda.

Dr Gonsalves left the state on Wednesday January, 18 for London, where he would first meet with the Minister for Caribbean Affairs there before travelling to Uganda for the G77 South Summit.

This summit will be held under the theme “leaving no one behind.”

It aims to boost cooperation among countries in areas such as: trade, investment, sustainable development, climate change, poverty eradication and the digital economy, The summit will be held on January 21 and 22. The SVG delegation also includes Minister of Foreign Affairs Keisal Peters.
