PM Gonsalves in Nigeria to deliver lecture

Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves is now in Nigeria, where he will deliver a special lecture at The Bells University of Technology today, Friday, November 3.

Gonsalves was greeted on arrival in Lagos on Thursday by various Nigerian government and security officials, as well as Vice Chancellor of Bells University of Technology OTA Ogun State, Professor Jeremiah Ojediran.

A release from the Agency for Public Information said the Vice Chancellor expressed elation at the arrival of Prime Minister Gonsalves and said that the visit was highly anticipated in Nigeria.

On Thursday, the Prime Minister toured the Obasanjo Presidential museum, the first of its kind on the African continent.

Today’s convocation lecture will be part of The Bells University of Technology’s 15th convocation ceremony.

The Prime Minister’s delegation includes Cenio Lewis, SVG’s High Commissioner to London, Shevrell Mc Millan, Press Officer to the PM and Inspector Irwin Adams, Security Officer.
