Autopsy to be done on partially decomposed body found on Thomas Island
Police have launched an investigation into the discovery of a partially decomposed body on Thomas Island, an island just outside of the Clifton Harbour, Union Island.
According to the investigations, the body was discovered by a Sea Captain about 4:00 p.m on Tuesday September 26, 2023. The deceased was later identified as Russell Douglas, 73 years of Union Island. The body was transported to the Kingstown Mortuary. A post mortem examination will be conducted on the body to ascertain the cause of death.
