51-year-old charged with wounding vendor on her face

Mark Shallow, a 51-year-old labourer of Kingstown was on August 5, 2023 arrested and charged with two counts of wounding.

Shallow is accused of unlawfully and maliciously wounding a 41-year-old vendor of Campden Park with a knife over her right eye; and by cutting her on her forehead.

The offences were alleged to have been committed on August 4 at about 9:30 pm and 10:55 pm at White Chapel Road, Kingstown.

Shallow appeared before the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court on August 7 and pleaded not guilty to the offences.

He was granted bail in the sum of EC$2500 with one surety. The matter was adjourned to October 10, 2023.
