Motor cyclist dies after weekend road incident involving a truck

A motor cyclist died at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital (MCMH), following a collision involving a truck along the Belmont Public Road last Saturday.

The police said the motor cyclist and his pinion rider were both seriously injured in the incident which occurred around 7:40 p.m on December 10.

Both victims were seriously injured and were taken to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital (MCMH) for medical attention where the cyclist subsequently died.

The pinion rider, said to be a resident of Akers, is warded at the hospital.

The police say they are conducting investigations into the incident.
