Elvis Harold had big dreams for life
‘LOGIE, ‘BILLY BOY’ and ‘me one boy pickney’ – Elvis Harold was known by a number of affectionate pet names during his life.
Harold was eulogized by his cousin, Donna Glynn during Sunday’s funeral service where she recounted comical experiences of him being disciplined by his mother when he forgot his manners, as well as being afflicted by stomach ache as a result of hunger.
She explained how family members initially believed Harold was disinterested in school during his early years but they later discovered he had a major issue with his left eye which affected his learning.
Glynn said Harold often acted like “the man of the house” and he was very protective of his two younger sisters who grew to idolize their only brother.
Glynn described the birth of Harold’s only daughter as one of the highlights of his life and he often confided to his sisters and his mother about the “big dreams” he had for life.
