The telecommunications company officially launched its new brand on Wednesday, January 26 with a luncheon at Beachcombers, in the presence of members of the FLOW team and the local business community.

“The launch of our FLOW Business brand not only allows us the opportunity to get together but it allows us to do two things:

firstly, it allows us to reaffirm our commitment to you, our valued customers, and secondly it coincides with the introduction of our new value proposition built with the needs of our small businesses in mind,” the head of SMB and Partner Channel — South Caribbean, Andrea Liverpool said at this week’s launch.

Liverpool noted that the past year has been difficult for businesses and FLOW is dedicated to showing it’s commitment as an ally to local businesses.

As such, the telecommunications company is making three promises to its business customers with the launch of the FLOW Business brand, formerly known as C&W Business.

The first of these promises is to “always keep you connected”.

Liverpool outlined how the company intends to do this with three fixed and mobile value plans.

The Essential package is designed for growing businesses with smaller teams that always need to be connected and includes “business-specific broadband” with download speeds of up to 75mbps and 20MB of mobile data.

The Advanced package has all the benefits of the essential package, with the added bonus of two times the Internet speed and two times the mobile data when compared to the previous package.

The third package, dubbed the Elite package, is designed for larger teams collaborating with customers and is described as “bursting with Internet speeds of up to 250mbps and unlimited mobile data”.

The SMB manager said the FLOW Business brand also promises to always provide more for its customers through unlimited access to business social apps such as WhatsApp Business, Zoom and Teams, more talk time and more call destinations as well as more savings with flexible and customisable plans.

Businesses are also being promised hassle free business class support through enhanced customer support service that provides 24/7 access at the touch of a button and a dedicated and professional local team “who is always ready and willing to serve you”.

“While we are here to reveal the new brand of Flow Business to our customers, we are also here to commit to all of our customers in St Vincent and the Grenadines that we will do things better,” FLOW’s country manager, Wayne Hull said.

“And more specifically for our business customers, no matter what size you are, we want to ensure that you know that we will lift our game to make you satisfied customers going forward.”

Hull noted that the company has made significant strides and investments in the ICT sphere in recent years, which has resulted in homes across the country experiencing top download speeds of over 500mbps.

Other innovations led to the upgrade of the network from HSPA+ to 4G LTE, the introduction of number portability and several cloud solutions for the business sector.

With this in mind, the country manager affirmed that the commitment of the FLOW Business brand is backed by a solid team of professionals, the largest network in the Caribbean and proven quality of service standards.

“The FLOW Business suite of products and services will support the growth of our customers in this era of integrated connectivity so welcome to the FLOW Business. We are your communications and technology partner helping you to progress forward and maximise your growth possibilities,” he said.

Manager of B2B Field Services, Barbados & Southern Windwards, Duane Samuel and president of the SVG Hotel Association, Kim Halbich also delivered brief remarks at the launch.

A chromebook, also raffled at the event was won by Nicole Ballantyne of SVGTV.
