Police force receive donation from St Vincent Red Cross

The St Vincent and the Grenadines Red Cross (SVGRC) last Friday, December 10, handed over a quantity of posters and bookmarkers to the Royal St.

Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF).

The items were presented by Jozell Sutherland on behalf of the SVGRC to Sgt Nicola Williams of the Sexual Offences Unit with the RSVGPF at a ceremony held at the SVG Red Cross Headquarters, Kingstown, a release from the police states.

The Red Cross have partnered with the Sexual Offences Unit to sensitise and educate many communities and groups throughout SVG about sexual violence, through its Community Resilience Building (CRB) Project during which several workshops were held on mainland St. Vincent and on Bequia.

The posters and bookmarkers are to be distributed and displayed throughout the country.
