CDC saddened by loss of ‘Sarge’

The Carnival Development Corporation (CDC) has been saddened to learn of the passing of former Assistant Superintendent of Police Jonathan ‘Sarge’ Nichols who died earlier this week.

ASP Nichols served as a Director on the Board of the Carnival Development Corporation (CDC) during the years 2010 – 2015 as the Official Representative of the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF). He was noted for his commitment and dedication to executing his assigned tasks as a CDC Director.

Above all, Mr. Nichols loved people, country and the RSVG Police Force. His service as a Master of Ceremonies at CDC Shows and at Calypso Tent Shows will be remembered.

The Carnival Development Corporation (CDC) together with the SVG Calypsonians Association (SVGCA), Youlou Pan Movement (YPM) and the Carnival Bands Incorporation (CBI) extend deep condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Jonathan ‘Sarge’ Nichols.
