CIBC FCIB makes donation to Melisizwe Brothers Concert in SVG

THE MELISIZWE Brothers made a huge bang on the international music scene after their rendition of the Jackson 5’s ‘I’ll Be There’ garnered millions of views on YouTube two years ago.

They were so impressive that the three young brothers were invited on the popular daytime time television show Ellen hosted by Ellen DeGeneres which led to even further exposure and success inclusive of winning Steve Harvey’s Showtime at the Apollo Theatre contest, performing at Time Square on New Year’s Eve on Fox TV in December 2017, Little Big Shots UK in March 2018, America’s Got Talent later April 2018, and then recently signed on as the lead vocals on Netflix Series Motown Magic.

Now these talented young men, Marc, 14; Seth, 11; and Zacary, 10 will be heading to St Vincent and the Grenadines to make a joyful noise as they present The Melisizwe Brothers in Concert with part proceeds from the show going the SCORCH Cancer Support Foundation. The concert takes place at the Russell Auditorium in Stoney Ground on Saturday, February 2, 2019.

CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank is one of the sponsors of the event and Country Manager Shelly Ann Samuel, said the bank was “thrilled to support Ask Productions in bringing the arts and sounds of these young talented boys to take our community on an inspirational musical journey and at the same time to raise money to continue to fight cancer – a cause that is very dear to us here at the bank.”
